This multitouch table of Microsoft is still expensive (US$ 8.400), but this widget about universe make it worth. It seem like something

of sci-fi movies and soon will be popularized, we hope so.

Sempre fui fã dos Orbital, um dos melhores grupos eletrônicos dos anos 1990. Após um hiato de 8 anos (!) eles estão voltando com o álbum Wonky, a ser lançado em 1 de abril. No clip abaixo eles dão uma prévia do que vem aí. Coisa boa, minha gente.

I was always an Orbital fan, one of the best live acts from the 90′s. After an hiatus of 8 years (!) they are releasing on april, the first Wonky, their new album. Seeing the video below we can expect only the best. Wicked stuff, folks.

Eles gravaram também um DJ set, mostrando que mandam bem nessa área também.

Os Fantásticos Livros Voadores do Sr. Morris Lessemore foi  o vencedor neste ano de Melhor Curta Metragem de Animação e, por sorte, está postado no You Tube.

Vale assistir seus 15 minutos de uma bela fábula, onde um homem se vê repentinamente levado por um vento forte a uma terra onde os livros tem vida própria e voam, numa alusão ao Mágico de Oz ou o mundo fantástico de Alice no País das Maravilhas. Totalmente mudo, a belíssima trilha instrumental baseada em piano e cordas é de arrepiar.

Não assistí as outras animações indicadas da categoria, mas esta cumpre claramente sua missão em nos tocar e fazer pensar e, deve ter ganho merecidamente o Oscar 2012 em sua categoria.  Eu recomendo muito.

This is the winner of the Best Short Film, Animated on the Oscar 2012 and, fortunatly, is on You Tube.

It worths its 15 minutes of a nice tale, where a man is swallowed by a strong wind to a land where books lives and fly, in an clear allusion to The Wizard of Oz or the fantastic world of Alice in Wonderland. Totally mute, the gorgeous soundtrack based on piano and chords is shivering.

I didn´t see the others nominations on this category, but this one clearly fulfills its  mission on touch and make us think, and won deservedly the 2012 Oscar on its category. I do indicate it.
